The well-established brand, Vogue's masthead is written in bold gold serif font to emphasis the importance and sophistication of the brand. it catches the readers attention and it is easily recognisable to many. There is no slogan or skyline because Vogue has confidence in their brand.
The colour scheme, being brown and white and general warm colours, conveys a sense of warmth and formality as it is directed to those of a AB economic group and demographic.

Cover line
The numerous cover lines around the magazine appeals to a more formal and mature audience but also simplistic as it is written in sans serif, it is there as little summaries of what the magazine entails for example, Body Politics.
    
Anchorage
Zendaya's name is shown in bold gold as she is the celebrity endorsement of this Vogue magazine. This draws the attention of her fan-base and makes the audience know her personally. There is also a short description of what Zendaya is and what she does so that people get to know her even if they do not particularly.

Main Image 
Zendaya is shown to have a powerful stance and body language which creates star power. The audience would aspire to be like her, see her as an 'idol'and want to read about her further. The mid shot emphasises her strong facial expression and also shows more of her body language.

Direct Address
Star image, Zendaya, has a direct eye-line match and looks like she it staring right at the audience. She creates and builds a sense of intimacy and makes Zendaya look more approachable as a person.
